A new tab was added to the salesperson creation screen in Acumatica to streamline financial period management.

Improved User Experience: The solution provides a dedicated tab for managing financial periods, making the interface more user-friendly and intuitive. 

Increased Efficiency: The grid within the new tab displays all relevant financial period information, eliminating the need to switch between multiple screens. This saves time and reduces frustration for users. 

Enhanced Productivity: By streamlining the process, users can manage financial periods more efficiently, leading to increased productivity for both individuals and the business as a whole. 

Customization: The solution leverages Acumatica’s layout editor and properties, ensuring that the grid is customizable and visually appealing. 

Technical Implementation: 

Adding Fields: Specific fields like TS Organization ID, TS Branch ID, TSBA Account ID, and TS Commission Period were added with appropriate attributes. 

Development Environment: The solution was developed using Visual Studio Code and published as an Acumatica package. 

Drag and Drop Functionality: The commission period selector was added to the revenue target section using a simple drag and drop action.
